Kids Summer Art Fiesta!

Do you wish there was somewhere your child could go to get creative and become a little artist, make new friends, visit new places and learn something about yoga and mindfulness as well? Then sign them up for the Kids Summer Art Fiesta!, the art camp in Hilversum!

About the art camp

During the Kids Summer Art Fiesta, your child will spend two or three full days working like a real artist, thus developing their creative skills. Yoga, mindfulness, games and visits to the art locations near the studio (including the Hilversum Museum), all give the children masses of inspiration and ideas for creating their own art. They will get to work with different materials and techniques. Your child will learn something new every day about the different ways of making art and will be able to experiment with different shapes, outlines, colours and surfaces. In short: we are going to have two or three great days!

Daily Schedule

  • The day always starts 09:30 with a circle talk and a piece of fruit and small breakfast to welcome everyone to the art camp and explain what we are going to do.

  • Then we start working on the first assignment or an excursion.

  • At 12:o0 p.m. we have lunch together and then we go outside for a walk.

  • When we have finished playing, we start the second activity: Yoga and mindfulness.

  • At 15:30 p.m. we clean up together and end the day with a drink and a healthy snack (16:00).

  • On Wednesday, during the morning we have more activities, after that, we decorate the studio, and set it up for a spectacular final exhibition of the summer art fiesta!.

Basic information

  • The Kids Summer Art Fiesta takes place under the supervision of Laura Notari and a team of enthusiastic supervisors.

  • The art fiesta is for children aged 5 to 12 years old.

  • The art fiesta is 3 days long – Monday to Wednesday in July & August – from 9:30 a.m. to 16:00 p.m. Also you can choose to assist only one or two days.

  • A week in advance you will receive the program, so you can already see what theme assignments the children will be doing during the art fiesta.

  • Healthy lunch is included. At the moment of the registration you must tell us know if your kid is allergic or has intolerance to certain food.

  • Kids Summer Art Fiesta will provide drinks and healthy snacks.

  • Kids Summer Art Fiesta also will provide all the art materials that we are going to work with, and the entrance to the Museum.

  • Make sure your child wears clothes that can get dirty, and also bring your own yoga mat!.

  • On Wednesday all of the artworks may be taken home. So bring a big bag or box.

  • The final exhibition will start at 15:00 p.m. on Wednesday (family and friends are invited!).
