My work is rooted in migration, not just the movement across borders, but the emotional, cultural, and generational shifts that echo through time. As a descendant of Spanish and Swiss immigrants to Argentina, and now a migrant myself living in the Netherlands, I carry layered identities that shape my creative practice. I use art to explore what is remembered, what is lost, and what is reimagined in the spaces between origin and arrival.
I work primarily with mixed media: acrylics, inks, papers, textiles, embroidery, and found objects. These materials, fragile, layered, often imperfect, mirror the fragmented stories of displacement and the resilience it takes to rebuild. Through tactile surfaces, color, and symbolic forms, I create visual narratives that connect personal history with broader social themes like belonging, sustainability, and gender.
My art is both an act of remembering and an act of resistance, against silence, against erasure, and against the commodification of identity. I believe in art’s power to educate, to heal, and to make space for voices often overlooked. Whether through installations, paintings, or community projects, I strive to create work that invites reflection, tenderness, and connection.
In every piece, I aim to honor the invisible labor of those who came before me and offer a platform for those still navigating their journey.
